The courage of the young Afghans who fled the brutal Taliban regime stands today as a beacon of hope. Hope for a fairer life and a more dignified future; hope for more love in their lives. In the face of repressive authoritarianism and dogmatic extremism, HOPE sings to the world that unity and respect are possible. We must hear their cry and act. We must pay attention and never forget.
